I am a HCPC‑registered Occupational Therapist working independently under the name Disability Voices.

I developed Disability Voices after becoming chronically ill myself and realising how poorly disabled people are represented — frequently dismissed or unheard at the very point they need support most.

Alongside my lived experience, I bring over 25 years’ experience as an Occupational Therapist working across health and social care. This combination means I genuinely understand how difficult it can be to live and work with chronic illness, how exhausting it is to keep explaining your situation, and how disheartening it feels when statutory services don’t fully hear you.

I specialise in invisible conditions and support people by completing functional assessments and providing clear, compassionate reports that explain how your condition affects everyday life. These reports help others understand your needs more fully, making the process clearer, fairer, and far less stressful.

If you’d like to get in touch, please complete the contact form with as much detail as you can. I’ll review your enquiry and, if I’m able to help, we can talk through your individual needs and next steps.

I currently offer On-line assessments and limited in-person assessments within Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan only.

During an assessment, I usually focus on your main areas of difficulty. I then write a clear, evidence‑based report to accurately reflect your lived experience. Where appropriate, my reports can also include practical advice, recommendations for aids or adaptations, and signposting to other services to support your wellbeing. I offer a stand alone service to for those wishing to explore work and reasonable adjustments.
