Aids and Adaptations Recommendations

What I provide

I provide personalised Occupational Therapy recommendations for aids, equipment, and home adaptations that support safety, independence, and comfort at home. All suggestions are based on a functional assessment and tailored to your specific needs, routines, and environment.

What I can recommend

  • Mobility aids (walking frames, rollators, transfer aids)

  • Bathroom equipment (grab rails, shower stools, raised toilet seats)

  • Kitchen and household aids (perching stools, ergonomic tools, cultery)

  • Major home adaption (level access shower, stair lifts, ramps)

Functional Assessments

 

What I provide

We will explore your daily living tasks like washing, dressing, and moving around, considering safety, fatigue, pain, and cognition. Recommendations for aids and adaptations are provided to improve your quality of life. Also included maybe sign posting to other supportive services.

My reports focus on daily living and mobility activities, assessing reliability and functional impact. Written in clear, functional language and they align with PIP descriptors.

Workplace Reasonable Adjustments

What I provide

I provide specialist Occupational Therapy assessments and reports to support employees who are managing a chronic illness at work. These assessments help identify practical, evidence‑based adjustments that enable you to work safely, sustainably, and with reduced impact on your health.

Reasonable adjustments are a legal right under the Equality Act 2010. A specialist OT report provides clear, professional evidence to help employers understand your needs and implement appropriate support.
